Run Angmering To Scarborough

Darren Winter and David Lewis will be taking on the ultimate running challenge to raise vital funds for West Sussex based charity Cancer United. 

​On the 11th of March the duo will be running from the offices of Cancer United in Angmering, West Sussex to the East Yorkshire Coast of Scarborough completing 12 marathons in 12 days, covering an incredible 345 miles.

Darren and David have chosen to support Cancer United for all the amazing work they do in the local community supporting cancer patients on their road to recovery and the money they hope to raise will make a big difference to the patients and their wellbeing and fitness and also their families.

Cancer United was founded by Jan Sheward, following a life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer, when she experienced first-hand the lack of appropriate health and wellbeing support available to those going through cancer treatment.

Through the benefits we offer we aim to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of those with cancer from diagnosis onwards, inspiring them to embrace the things they can do and to refuse to be defined by what they can’t whilst also giving support to those close to them.

The services and benefits that Cancer United and CUFitter® offer are inclusive to everyone and encompass all those whose lives have been affected by cancer including family friends and carers whatever religion or from whatever walk of life.
